looking for a a replacement one like this, all im getting is sellers over seas , is there a code or name that would find more local results im sure theyre not so hard to find

prefer a seller that does known brands

Somthing I tend to do with these kind of cells is stick them in a charger and charge them up before fitting as often the devices they are in have quit slow chargers. At least then once you fitted it you can test immediately

I'm trying to avoid buying NiMH (and even more so NiCd) these days, and if at all possible, and switch to Li-ion. Of course voltage and size have to be dealt with but I replaced 10 NiCd cells in the battery pack of an old Bosch 12V drill with three 18650 Li cells and that was a really good move.

14500 size batteries are the same sized as AA batteries, so if you have something that takes 3 x AA NiMH (or NIcad) batteries you can use the same holder for 1 X 14500 LI-Ion battery, just need a bit of wire to bypass the battery slots not used.
