Whats this worth?

I need to raise some funds and going to sell off some off my stuff.

I've got this bespoke bar roller that I've been using for the past year for making gate tops etc.

It looks abit wierd but it does an excellent job.

I've rolled 35x13 with it easy.

I got it from a retired old school wrought iron guy, He had it made as far as I know.

I've not had a sniff of work since early December so I'm getting rid of the unit until it picks back up. I've got a big garage so I'll work from there for now

I've been told it would cost a bomb to make as alot of it is laser cut. One bloke said it would be upwards of £400.

I'll happily take pics if anyone wants to try and make one.

I just want know how much this is worth so I put a tidy reserve on it when I put on fleabay.

Roger,

If you take the main rollers off you could fit in box section but I've never tried it.

It comes with a stand thats bolted to wall and floor. Its a very heavy piece of kit.

I have been doing my arches the old fashoined way with a hammer and big u section.

So im thinking that yours would be just up my street maybe get some smaller rolls made just for box section.

Would this fit in the back of a 4x4? and any idea of what you would be looking for it yet?

I know you say you are strapped for cash, but do you really have to sell your gear if you intend to go back to making gates and that. Much harder to get back into if you have to buy all the gear again - especially as you will no doubt pay more than you got for selling it in the first place.
Is it really that quiet for you?

Hi Baz

Tried the 25x25x03 box section no problem getting some other rolls made to do upto 40x40x3 and a set for 10,12,16 & 20mm round.

As i said you will get first refusal
