What's is the toughest, mild steel or aluminium sheet?

All other things being equal (size, shape, thickness, application, etc) which is the toughest metal? By toughest I mean less prone to flex.

And also springiness needs to be considered - is one more likely to spring back to flat that the other or about the same? I realise that beyond a certain point springiness becomes moot and the sheet will just buckle or crease, but at the point where it will spring back which is the springier?

Tensile strength is around 300 for 60-series aluminium, 2200 for spring steel
Says it all
