Whats good for rust remover?

Just been out to my shed to root through my nut & bolt collection only to find I've had a leak in the roof and my storage rack has been filled with water & the stuff has gone rusty , is there anything from the high street you can suggest to soak them in to shift some of it as I know I wont shift it all but as much as poss would be good.

Vinegar. Put them in a jar of vinegar and let them soak for a few days remove the black gunk wash in water and oil them.

Cheap and it works.

In my own experience its always worked, it does require a bush with a wire bush or wire wool. I guess I depends how bad the rust is.

Weldinator has the right stuff.
make up a solution of it, leave em in it over night, give the jar a good shake.
Dry them off job done. I use it a lot on hot rolled strip, it removed the oxide perfectly. It just wipes off with a rag next day.
