What's difference between Clarke 130E & 130EN

HI all~
I am a newhand for learning welding~
I want to buy a welder from eaby.
I found Clarke 130 series.
It has two type,one is 130 Amp 110v Gas Only WE6510(130E)
another is 130 Amp 110v Gas or No Gas WE6523(130EN)

I am not sure what's difference between those machine.
Can anybody help me?

Maybe WE6510 is only working with Gas?

Yes, gas only, I think more common as TE model.

Gas only would likely have a smooth roller while a gas/gasless will have a knurled roller.

The gas-only model may not have the terminals to swap the polarity.

If you don't plan on using gasless wire, the either will be fine.

The EN usually has the regulator as a separate item. Make sure it is included.

What welders should I select?

Thanks for reply.
I still have some questions.
Can you tell me those welders have strong points and weak points respectively?
What welder should I select?
My application is for car panel restoration mainly.
Cost issue is not very important for me.

The Clarke's are good welders. I have a 130EN and it has worked well. Have used it a lot over the last 6 months, no problems.

A few times I wish I had gotten the 180EN as I needed to do thicker steel. I just beveled the edges and it worked fine.

It does have a bit high minimum current. That can make welding thin panels difficult. Using 0.6mm wire will get around the issue.

Between the 130E and 130EN, look at what comes with it. Both should come with a gas regulator. They are basically the same unit, so either is fine.

the EN won't come with a gas regualtor out of the box as it'll be set-up as standard to use gasless wire...unless of course they state otherwise on the advert. Weldequipe on here can do a gas conversion kit for the clarke EN series machines which includes, 0.7kg of gas wire, small argon/co2 gas bottle and regulator (I got my 151EN and gas conversion kit from him...very helpfull fella, have a word with him if you need more advice before buying from e-bay!)

Overall I would highly recommend a clarke for a first welder / small DIY welder, mines fantastic, no problems at all while I've been learning on it apart from the mistakes I've made. Get the EN though if you can, that way you have the best of both worlds should you need it.

Although weldequip would provide a regulator, I don't know if he wants to ship to Taiwan
