What would you advise for the inside of a new wing

I just epoxy'ed the inside of this wing, any advice on how to finish it off as it doesn't need to be body coloured.

I will gravitex the arch but wasn't sure what is the best final coating for the inside to overcoat the epoxy before underseal.

coat of gloss and some cavity wax ...if its got a wing liner it wont really need alot

I put on a few coats of Gravitex and went down to the paint supplier and got some grey 2k gloss, then realised what I should have done when I saw the Raptor advert in the paint supplier.

I guess that would kill two birds with one stone, stone chip protection and a final finish all in one.

Earlier I blasted the wheel arch area with gravitex (an hour after the epoxy), probably too many coats to fast and have ended up with this, three hours later it is still soft.

Any suggestions?

too much too soon...let it set up for a good while in the warm then another light coat

Thanks, I left it out in the sun all afternoon and it firmed up, then gave it a couple of light coats so is now looking a bit better.

I thought Gravitex was slightly textured. Did you thin it?

5 years ago I stripped the bottom of my car backto bare metal. I thenbrush painted the bottom of my car with a couple coat of bilt hamber zinc primer, followed by 3 coats of gavitex. its has rusted in several places.

3 years ago I stripped the bottom of my other car back to bare metal and brush applied a couple coats of Jotun 87 epoxy primer.

The epoxy primer on its own is looking better long term than the zinc primer and gravitex.

I did paint the underneath of the car grey so that it was easier to spot rust too

No thinners, just put on too much too quickly and it flatted itself out, no big deal as its there to stop stone chips and I now have the textured surface after putting on another light coat.

I'm in the process of applying Jotun to the chassis and arches of my resto.

Now I like Jotun 87,,,,,, and I like Lechler Epoxy,,,,,, but which is best,,,,,,FIGHT!

If you are brush painting the underside Jotun is fine and it works out cheaper.
If you are spraying the body work Lechler is much better.
I never spray Jotun and I always spray Lechler so I have not carried out a scientific test. Only enough to reinforce my own prejudice.
