Hi, this is my first post here after much reading. Thanks to all those asking and answering for the very helpful info I have learned on here.
I am a junior welder. Bought a 210amp MIG 2 weeks ago primarily for auto panelwork. I bought a slightly heavier duty machine so that I can do other stuff if need/want be. I am practising my metal shaping & welding on a Toyota FJ40 before getting an old 63 Holden hot rodded.
I opened up the side of my new MIG today to see the wire in an unwelcome state. I guess the cause of the problem is the clutch. Am I correct in thinking that? Do I need to loosen the clutch a bit to solve this (after rewiring)? Or maybe I am completely wrong. Suggestions appreciated.
