what type of bike?

had a bit of an argument with a guy in work earlier about what type of bike his son would need in order to do all that freestyle stuff using random objects as ramps and so on.

I said it doesn't matter as long as he practices, he said don't be daft, its not like it could be done on a road racer

im not into that sort of thing, although I did used to be quite into bmx flat land stuff (never any good at it though) but I do like watching skilled people like him and danny macaskill.

I suppose its like everything else though. I can wheelie a motor bike, but Christian pfeifer makes it look like art, where as I just look like a bloke that's given it a bit too much throttle lol

well you would ideally need a trials bike.. so 1:1 ratio gears, very low frame etc

but a good park/dirt jump bike you would be able to do most of that stuff to

and i am thinking about building up my dirt bike again... shouldnt really have broken it tbh

Yeah, a trials bike is what he's after..

The dude in the video is widely considered the greatest trials rider ever. Seeing him on a road bike was just sick.

Sadly, he had a fall at a demo last month, breaking his back and is most likely paralysed.
