can anyone tell me the best stuff to use for removing what i think is stove enamel,its on a boxford lathe,i have tried nitromors,but wont touch it even tried blowlamp but no luck,any info would be great.kev
I've found brake fluid to be effective on everything I've tried it on so far. It's no speed demon, so usually needs to be left overnight to work, and may require several applications, but it might be worth trying if you have any knocking about.
I have spoken to a couple of chemical suppliers and both have said there is some stuff but i would need a licence to have it but they would not tell me what it was,as far as brake fluid i have tried it also battery acid nothing seems to touch it,i will find something (hopefully).
