What to buy

Hi all,
Not been on here for a while, its been a bit hectic at work and home.

Anyhow. If you had about £2500 to spend on a ac/dc tig welder. Up to 300a max, i have available single and 3 phase.
Which welder would you buy.

The reason i ask is that i'm looking at changing my welder to something a little better but I intend on this been the last time i do it so only want to do it once.
There are just so many to choose from.
I in particular like the miller machines but mainly as i used them at college.

If i was spending that amount, i would be buying a Lorch. We have a 500a and a 400a mig; stood the test of time in an industrial environment without a minutes trouble.
You might even get change from 2.5k

Seconding a Lorch, I have the Lorch T220 machine and its a cracking bit of kit.

Also having Matt1978 on the forums is a big help (hes the main rep for Lorch in the UK).
