What size wire do I use?

I bought a second hand Clarke 150TE to do some welding on my Range Rover Classic, what size wire should I use, 0.6mm or 0.8mm?

0.6mm is easier for body panels and can do up to 2mm easily.

I need to weld on a new inner wing, repair the sill, a small section of floor & a little bit of the chassis.

Would 0.6mm be fine for all of the above inc the chassis?
