What should i do ?

I went to my local builders merchant ( a privatley owned one as opposed to a national one ) to check out costs for some sliding door track for a project i have going on, theyre people i've dealt with for years on a first name basis, i looked through the henderson catalogue with the guy and between us we decided what i needed, i asked him how much it would be and he said about £220, the bill came today and its £517 which is not exactly a small difference, naturally im a bit p++++d off about this, what do you think i should do? the track is now all fitted up and in use.

all you can do is speak to them tell them your not happy and you only went ahead on the basis it was 220 quid tell them you are not paying over double and if they dont like it take it all away again

No doubt their T&C state title of the goods remain the property of XYZ. Use this to your advantage and tell them you fitted on the advised price and if they don't like it, it's still theirs and to take it away
