This is the bag off bones from my old genset i burnt out trying to weld with my clarke 151te the alternater is shot but the engine is good im thinking go cart for engine welding cart for the frame whats your thoughts guys
I'm pretty sure the engines used on generators haves a tapered shaft and not the normal keyed one so that may be an issue if you want to build a kart as the clutches normally require a 3/4/19mm keyway shaft.
You would have to strip the whole thing down to get the crank out to machine a keyway on it. Then bore a pulley to fit the taper. All that for a Chinese junk engine.
