What paint?

Hi guys just making a workbench from an old steel frame but Im tired of using cheap vapormatic paint which I used on my tractor and trailer as its easily scratched what paint can I use.

push the boat out and 2k etch prime it then a coat of transport enamel i wouldnt of thought a bench would warant anything more than whatever u can get for a cheap price

I just used household gloss black on mine, as Brightspark says, but straight to metal, cheap as poss (it was in the shed doing nothing). 4 yrs on and it's done fine.
