What paint

This may be a really stupid question but new to all this side of things. I was wondering what paint do you need for painting your jobs?

Its really only to give it a cover and a bit of a better look. Its only going to be for quick jobs and projects. Would be looking to go for better stuff for jobs that are done for people.

Another question is does emulsion work?

Emulsion, not a good idea at all.

I used Wickes metal primer and a single coat of their non-drip gloss (no undercoat) on this:

Didn't like the primer much though.

Also meant to add looking for some paint that would come in the big tubs and that is cheap as i'd probably go through alot.

go with RTBCOMP.buy it in big lots and you'll be throw it way.

I bought some cheap metal paint form Toolsattion, £4.50 or so a tin, seems pretty good stuff. Similar to hammerite, no primer needed.

tip

if store paint,make sure lid is on well,aqnd store cans upside down.
any skin is then formed on the bottom.
