What motorcycle alternator Amp`s ???

I use the 45 amp Nippon Denso units off kubota diggers etc , it will run what you have easily and they are tiny, very easy fix

Not a ratrod mate, I don't build them but it was a Lucas 18acr

My mistake Steve, I didn't really look at the overall car just all the parts and the work quality.

I didn't take offence mate but to call someones car a Ratrod is not the way to make friends Ratrods tend to be pretty shabbily built on usually a pittance
Just giving you a heads up.

I was watching the rebuild of a lotus elan on jay lenos channel on youtube, they were very tight for space between the engine and inner wing, so they used a kubota garden tractor alternator. Small but efficient.

Yep same as, we use them a lot, there is also a small 100amp Mitsubishi jobbie

First Nippon Denso alternator I saw was fitted to a Kubota diesel in a refrigerator lorry back. It was amazing after the usual ACR units.
