what is a nozzle pin?

hi everyone,
i have just been offered a clarke mig welder, model 151 en turbo, at a bargain price, but the guy says that it needs a new nozzle pin ... i have contacted the spare parts people at machine mart but they dont seem to know what this. i dont want to end up with a useless welder as the idea is to save money.
i would really appreciate it if anyone could give me advice on what this part is and how much it is likely to cost.

They must be referring to the electrode tip.

They are cheap and available almost anywhere. In fact, all the parts for the torch are available.

I got mine at alocal home improvemnet store, 5 for $7 US.

Sounds like the contact tip to me. Costs about 50-70p each depending on size of bag for hobby types.

My First thought when i saw 'nozzle pin' was one of those stiff wire efforts that you prod down a gas welding nozzle to unblock it.

(Sounds like he's not quite, Au fait with the lingua welda) Er.. sorry. I'll get me coat.
