When I was an apprentice in the 60s the oil drainer was emptied using compressed at at 90 psi , it had what was supposed to be an automatic valve at the bottom of the “funnel” which didn’t always work . I got caught once when it did its gusher impression
Sadly thats the case, think the old one was about 9 years old and it does get a lot of use.Except for the spider and drum assembly . It's becoming the case that if your washer is over 6 yrs old you're better off buying a newer more modern machine with a 2 yr warrantee on it .
