What hydraulic fitting?

What is this?!?!

Nothing I’ve come across. This actual piece is a blanking plug but I need 2no with hose tails to fit in the female parts so I can bleed the cylinders on this contraption.

I’m going to turn them for quickness but wondered what it is out of curiosity more than anything

It’s a lift. For wheelchairs and such. Basically a Uber safe motorcycle lift! Not massively relevant what it’s for but that’s it’s purpose.

I was curious as to the type / name of fitting

Or.... Is it a quick release system, to keep dust and crud out of unused female plugs ???

Ahh, ok, I'm with you, I think.

We sometimes have problems getting the hydraulic quick release fittings into the mating plugs due to temperature changes, the only solution is to tap a round drift into the fitting to relieve the pressure.

At this point if you've not got a rag over it you get squirted with hydraulic fluid. Been there.

Hence no rubber seal on the groove I guess.

Pressure releasers ???
