What do you think of these wheels?

I have been offered these(not actually these) But the same type. They will need repainting but that's fine. What do you think Ugly or nice?

Dunlop D1, nice period wheel but not the best looking imho.
Can't go wrong with minilite style tbh.

They would look SICK on an old stripped out Jag, Dartford Gangster Style, you know the old get away set up, I love em.

The guy sent me a picture and they aren't in great condition. he wants £80 for them.

I think I might stick with my steel ones and spray them white. Or powder coat them and do a rally mini.

Sure they're 12". I had a set of those in 10".

No, they are 10" You can get reproduction JBW ones that are 12x5's though. What has really put me of is that I would have to change my whole brake set-up. I'm going to carry on looking for 12x6's.

Absolutely right Ollie, you'd have to retro fit drum brakes to the front which would be errr....rather silly to say the least!

Old Dunlops, Cosmics and Mambas were classic 60s and 70s running gear for Minis. They fitted over 10" Cooper disks which cost a fortune nowadays if you can find them.

you can do a brake conversion using fiesta callipers to drop to 7.9 discs.

this is whats on mine. With these wheels.

(when I mean mine I mean my otherhalfs. And when I say on its whats in the garage to do once i extract a digit.)
