Some sort of ceramic?
Hexagonal, 101mm / 4" accross the flats
12.5mm thick.
432grams each so heavy for the size of them.
A quick Google shows me that Hexagonal wall/floor tiles are common enough in this size but these seem a bit thick for that and they are also perfectly finished on both faces and all sides.
I first thought they might be tiles for lining a furnace or something?
But, they were in the same box as a load of grinding wheels/stones.
I would say they are very fine though, maybe 3000 grit at a guess?
I tried one on a kitchen knife with water and it does paste up nicely and polish an edge up well
I'm wondering if they are something specific for some sort of finishing tooling?
