I have a 3 jaw with a gew sets of jaws, but I don't know what this set are for.
The hex sections are held onto the jaw with a central hex bolt. The underneath of the large hex pieces are castellated like a bit so they can be rotated.
It's like they are designed to be machined to accept a specific job.
Maybe the recess In them wad to hold something thin and circular?
Then you can rotate them, machine them to hold a different diameter?
But I'm guessing.
On the subject of chuck jaws, I have 2 other sets of 3 jaws but they don't go with any chuck I own.
Are they machined specific for each individual chuck or might they be of use to someone else?
