Can anyone reccommend what settings i need to weld 4mm plate to a 10mm plate?
Its for a load bearing product so it needs to be pretty robust.
Currently i am laying a 6mm fillet weld, using 1mm wire, on a setting of 31.9V / 193A.
Does anyone know if this is adequate? it looks to be, but I was wondering if anyone could shead a bit of light/science/theory on it.

p.s. would this be the same for 12.5mm & 4mm plate?
