What am I missing?

Right, been using a BOC130 mig, (same as snap on and cebora 130). I have been using disposable bottles up until now but I just got what I thought were all the parts to swap to big bottles, I can get the bottle attached to the reg, and the pipe that goes from the reg to the mig looks ok, but i cant see how to attach it to the hose pipe to the gun?

I assume the top part of the hose in the bottom pic should be connected to the old hose that went into the disposable bottles regulator? But I assume there must be an adaptor?

Does the plastic pipe not just push up inside that fitting?
It doesn't look like the normal ones I've seen but that's how they work.

The two pipes. the end attached to the welder is threaded, the end coming from the bottle looks to be a push fitting.

You need to get that fitting off the plastic pipe.
Push the collar towards the fitting, hold it in and pull the pipe out.

Is that the pipe that comes from the welder itself, and push that into the new pipe that comes from the reg? I cant see how it would seal properly?
