Esab are exchanging the machine for a new unit, apparently its an isolated case, just got to arrange a time next week when i'm back at work.

Supplier rang today, we both thought collection had been arranged for today which is why i have a big yellow box sitting here in front of me 
anyway, collection is now "when they can" whatever that means.
The new unit will be with me Wednesday - this is coming from the same supplier, i delayed dispatch as i didn't want it stuck in some depot over the bank holiday so thats ok.
Esab told the supplier that the faulty unit is going straight back to the USA as its a rare occurrence so it seems they are taking it seriously but the wheels turn very slowly.
