My new mig welder has decided to give up. This is the second time on two new machines. Run out rods. The transit tipper I use decided to give up the ghost to.

More like what a f@@@@@@ weekend. Measure twice cut once. Not measure once cut once and realise it's wrong. Am making amateur mistakes today.

It's a Clarke swivel vice. Biggest one they make.supposed to be unbreakable. And to be honest it's a good vice.

Those vices are breakable.
I had one, it broke, got a new one under warrantee. handle snapped.

Got a Record now.

How the f did you break the handle

2" box in vice, tightened up.
Bar bent and cracked the end of the screw thread.
Back to supplier, they were shocked, the clear rust proving was not even marked.

Nightmare ain't it. The bar could do with being larger . I often on the look out for one of them monster record vices.

Just bean having a beer with a neighbour, he was a bit upset.
Been trying to fix new wood to the windows and doors to replace rotten wood.

He was complaining that the measurement were not full meters or cm's. He wasted so much.

I pointed out:
"Our houses are imperial"
I would repeat his words and actions when I showed him.
But I would be banned.



I did get a few beers.

Update. After measuring once and cutting once twice and realising I had messed up
.i managed to get it right.

Update on bad weekend. Took my welder in to my supplier. And yes... it's got to go back to oerlikon hq .
What a nightmare! !!!!!
