Can anyone help me!
After spending a week flatting back filler primer, I'd decided that I needed another coat, heavier than the last one, but as my gravity fed gun only holds 500ml, I'd have to do this coat in two goes. i.e. first 500ml then second 500ml wet on wet.
However whilst cleaning out the gun between fill ups my regulator knacked. So I'm left with no breathable air (and had to vacate the garage quickly), a cup full of paint gently going off in the corner unused and the prospect of having all of the rubbing down to repeat before I can have another go at applying enough primer. Arrghh!
As the primer is now dry, my plan to wet on wet is now cancelled, what is the minimum re-keying I can do to continue adding the remaining filler primer needed?
PS
I'm new to this, this is my first paint job using proper gear, (which may explain my unorthodox method?) and the job is a Vespa frame which is quite a complex shape to flat off hence the long time spent.
