Hi guys. I run a very busy alloy wheel refurbishing company in the west midlands and we are looking to get directly involved in Tig welding rims ( we currently outsource cracked rims to an industrial welder and we only offer linishing and grinding solutions to kerb rash). I have tried the 'advertise at the job centre for an experienced welder ' option but they just keep sending me teenagers that have worked for tesco. Firstly does anybody have any better suggestions in terms of where I should be looking for the rarer spotted experienced welder or , failing that , is it realistic to be self taught and able to offer professional standard rim repair. Thanks for reading my essay !!
