Wescol Regulator for Argon Mix

Hi had a Wescol single stage regulator with my Portomig 180 about 3 years ago, I have just renewed my gas bottle and I find the regulator vibrates as I weld. I have tried various outlet levels but it still occurs, any one experienced anything like this before or is it just a simple replacement.

My regulator, also a Wescol supplied with a Portamig, makes a kind of groaning noise sometimes - at first I thought I had a problem with the mechanics of the machine but then I realised the sound comes from the regulator. As far as I know the regulator is still functioning as it should?

Hi thanks for the reply. I am a still a bit worried as when the regulator vibrates the flow rate changes which cant be good for welding, can it?

No, that doesn't sound good. Did you buy the kit from Weldequip, if so, I suggest you have a chat with Steve?
