Went to the seaside!

Afternoon all,
I went to the seaside on friday...scotland to hastings and back again to collect someone and their stuff...a round trip of 994 miles and i left home at midnight on thursday and got back home at 10pm friday night.....what a fun day that was!

Just thought i would share my exciting day with you all

Car averaged 51mpg though which was a nice surprise.

Hi,

not much fun at all on a Friday! Traffic must have been horrible...was it east side or west side...M6 or A1/M1?

It was the M6,although we hit traffic at birmingham and warrington i couldnt have timed it better as the M25 and lower M6 both got blocked solid not long after i had passed through them

I had contemplated the M1 fleetingly on the way back but im glad i did'nt now! the last i heard it was a 30 mile tailback between jnc 21 and 27

I of course had radio 2 on for Sally traffic
