Altitude Angel the company has gone into administration, their product "drone assist" is the goto product for checking areas you can fly or digitally requested to fly in restriction zones. The app was developed in partnership with the CAA so is a significant loss for the drone community.

This is far superior than the dji app, it gives you the latest info including new temporary FRZs coming into effect such as military training/foreign gov visits and it can also give you live updates of any aircraft flying towards you in real time so you know if you need to land.

You can also fly in restricted areas such as beside an airport by submitting the digital UTM request to the local atc for example.

It's a significant blow to the drone industry both hobby and commercial.
