Howdy,
I have a Hobart handler mig running Co2. I'm welding 3/16 mild steel tube. I did some test welds to get the settings right and was very happy with the settings and resulting welds.
I started welding and was very pleased with the results but after the first few strings the welds went to ****. I started getting lots of spatter, bad penetration and rusty grannular looking welds.
Nothing changed in my settings (feed, power, gas, steel, ambient temp). Any ideas??
