T TechnicAl Banned Messages 8,980 Location Rotherham Mar 8, 2011 #4 308L isnt ideal. It might be OK but it might be hard and brittle and crack. It depends on the amount of dilution you get. Ideally you need 309L which is OK for welding stainless, ms and stainless to ms.
