hey guys. just after some opinions on welding using co2 for sheet metal mig welding as i've heard its perfectly fine and then others say its not worth using at all.
cheers
I use it at times mainly for steel around the 3mm thickness, occasionaly I have had thinner to weld and could not be bothered changing the bottle and seemed ok to me, decent welds with no problems..perhaps spatter's a bit more and as Shenion mentions, runs a bit hotter but my MIG goes down to 15 amps so can control that easily
