Hi everyone,
I'm going to be starting a new job on Monday, working as part of a welding/fabrication team in an Ice Cream factory. I've got a feeling that it's going to involve some stainless work with MIG, which I've never done before. Obviously I don't want to turn up and look like a numpty (might be a bit difficult in my case
), so I have a couple of questions.....
When welding SS with MIG is just a case of changing the settings/gas/wire to suit the material, and then using the same technique as with low carbon steel?
Also, any other tips on welding SS would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
