welding sills

hi guys, was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on welding the sills on a 5 door corsa without messing up the panel gaps on the doors. i have read the aston martin restoration pages on the site, but am finding it difficult to find a way of bracing the vehicle across the front and back doors, if that makes sense

I've cut Corsa sills off and replaced them with no problems. There's plenty left to hold them together with just the outer sill removed.

Keep the doors on while you do the welding work at least tacking the new sills on, this will ensure the gap stays ok.

keep the doors on and shut , and the car stood on its tyres

worked for vaux for some years thats how they did it..will only loose the gaps if you have it jacked up funny

will that still work if i need to replace inner and outer sills. just been up to have a look at it before cutting anything away and have noticed the inner and outer offside are really bad and the outer nearside is too
