That I know, I'll be cutting out the rot on the Focus.

The blasting pot's just for cleaning up some light angle where I'm forming an accurate wet room corner to a wall drain. Light surface rust only. It'll all get epoxied then tanked.

How big is your Aldi compressor? We have the 24l one - been excellent for inflating tyres and Gravitexing - but optimistically bought the media blaster kit too as they were selling it off and the compressor has nowhere near enough umph to power it. You might have more luck if it's the 50l one.

When fitting cills I like the car high and stable.
Drive onto a car ramp, jack the other end of the car and slide the other car ramp in. Both wheels well of the ground.

Check for wiring running through the cilla before grinding or welding.

I find it’s often easier to remove the outer cill, remake the inner cill if needed, fit new outer cill.
