Welding magnets keep clean

made a couple of boxes to keep the dust and swarf off the magnets,well most of the time.
Thought I'd share the idea.

WHAT half the fun of welding is cleaning the mangets ,finding the other glove,where did i last use those snips,and the oh i did think my welding did not look very good ive run out of gas

I use the cheap method of putting each one in a plastic bag, when the swarf builds up just turn the bag inside out to collect it.

I just switch the compressor and blast them with air, the swarf simply flies off into the bin.

Then drop the magnet inside the bag again

Or into my socks and itching for the rest of the day

Cling film is the biz on these mags , a few wraps of that and when they start to look like a hedgehog pull it of and give them another wrap

Best way to clean them magnets is with an air line and blow them clean with 70 PSI upwards and a blowgun..like the box idea
