Thanks for that, it just confirms what I was saying in my 'Linking three threads' post about boat building quality, it is hard to believe that they could think that was even close to respectable ok you are probably not going to drown in a canal but it would sure mess your life up a bit finding your pride n joy sitting at the bottom of the cut !

It was and there were allegations of damage, presumably amounting to tens of thousands, and probably a court case. The thread was closed.

I've no idea what happened as regards a court case, but it might be something it's wiser not to comment on without hearing the other side of the story or hearing the findings of the court.
