I think you may well have to write off the 'new' paint and stickers if you're doing any hot work on it.
Looks like it mate, but oh well will probably cover it with carbon fibre or something if it looks bad, just want to get out on the 2-smoker it been 3 months since last ride!
Tank was emptied on Thursday evening, today (Friday) I filled it with hot soapy water, shook and emptied (x3), I then ran warm water through it for 30 mins, I then rinsed it again with hot soapy water x3.
And then I took it to my works and was put it in a hot air drying room at about 40c for 5-6 hours... Although the tank felt hotter than this as it placed right in front of heater.
Going to attack it tomorrow with a blowtorch and solder, borrowed some safety gear from work too, full on kevlar suit and molten splash helmet. :-D
