I bought a welding gauge online for measuring butt, fillet, concavity and convexity weld sizes. The convexity scale however is different from the other scales, when you look, it seems like a misprint on the gauge with blank spaces where the distances just don't add up. I've been online to a American website (not the one i bought it from) and their convexity gauge measurement print has the same spacings, allbeit in imperial, this just does not make any sense. Please can someone look at the picture and explain this to me. The convexity print is on the bottom right of the picture.
