I have just got hold of a clarke en130 mig and it came with a empty bottle (the bloke said he had a mix in it).I found a guy in london who does co2 refills for 10 quid but he said the tank has to be in date and that it would be stamped on the bottle..theres a whole bunch of stamps on the bottle that make no sense to me ,and someone has written 2019 in paint pen on it..Can anyone tell me if these stamps mean anything?or is it only good for scrap..also what are my options for gas in north london..i see london gas ,adams gas etc etc i can get a bottle for about 100-120 quid for argon mix ,but i dont think my reg will fit those bottles so thats another 30-40 odd on top ..anyone know a cheaper option?i only have a small job to do and i dont really want to pay that much for gas (almost more than the mig itself)
any info appreciated.
