welding earth via ball race thread.. I can't find it

About a week or so ago, there was a thread about welding current return going via a bearing on a shaft...
Been looking but can't find the original post....
Am I going mad and imagined it?

slightly off topic, but related to current through bearing races. if you have a ply be prepared for the bearings you use to be ruined
