Nope, titanium forms brittle compounds with most things given the chance. AFAIK the only feasable/practical disimilar joints are with metals that make Ti seem cheap by comparison! If the joint doesn't fall apart immediately it'll probably be full of cracks.
Rings a feint bell but i suspect it'd need doing in an inert atmosphere, break out the oxy and the Ti will end up full of nitrides and oxides embrittling it
I was going to ask if anyone on here silver soldered or brazed titanium. I wanted to fix some carbide wear faces to a titanium cam follower. I suspected I wasn't going to be able to use a flame;-)
