welding degrees!!

my god folks!! i didn't know tou could do a welding degree!! i was just going to aim to finnish college but i think i have set my sights higher now! i did my first test piece in college before xmas and passed, it was a tee joint!! i am now working on my next piece that is a lap weld. i'm not doing to bad on my course work either there are 10 units and i am on my 3rd unit. i was down in dumps over xmas cos there wasn't any college but now i am back in the full swing of things, i carn't wait to finnish this year and start on next year, i am just an impatiant sod and want everything now. i am so glad that i have that i picked to do welding than anything else!! i just hope it will all work out!!

Of course wedgie.....but qualifications like that require you to learn about materials science, metallurgy, manufacturing techniques and processes, stress and strain, maths, etc, etc.
Be enthusiastic but beware, practical welding games diminish, the higher up the qualification tree you get, as a rule.
