Welding curtain

I am looking to get material to make a couple of 4m x 2.4m welding curtains, basically to create a temporary partition in my garage so that I can weld/cut/grind without the cars & bikes getting damaged.

Ideally they should be clear to let light pass through so can anyone recommend a supplier of such curtains or a particular material to use?

Hi, We used to use to use the large sheets of polythene used for masking up cars, it comes on a roll and opens up to about 3m wide. It's cheap enough to discard when compromised.

Depends how close it is. He only wants a temporary screen.

Pretty close if its like most peoples garages. Safety First will do a translucent PVC in red or orange in any size you like with eyelets riveted in and rings to facilitate hanging from a pole etc.

I use those slatted sheets that are used on cold stores for forklifts etc to drive through. The are UV safe so prevent anyone getting a flash but still allow the light through.
