Welding course Darwin Lancs

Hi all
Has anyone heard of of this place http://www.lancashireschoolofwelding.co.uk/
I have been trying to contact them for several days by phone and through their website and although I have left phone messages and Email's I have had no reply as yet. On their website the courses advertised look to be just what I want.

Go to Wilkinsons Welding Academy, Wardle Industrial Estate, just off the East Lancashire road. I recieve my courses and training there. Excellent place, new equipment, They do codings for any country, make their own welders etc.

There seems to be a lot "Lancashire School of ............."

Are they connected with http://belajarengineering.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/tig-welding-courses-in-hampshire.html they both use the same image.

I'd look a bit deeper before parting with any cash.

wilkinsons academy is owned and ran by John Wilkinson aka 'mr salford' very nice guy. He's always there. Many companies send their employees here for upskilling and coding.

Never heard of them myself - I went to Myerscough college but since it looks like they were only set up in 2011 they wouldn't have been around when I was doing my course.

They might well be under water at the moment as Hollins Grove Mill is only a couple of hundred yards away from the area where Darwen had all the major flooding in July.

I don't pass that way normally as I live just on the other side of the motorway and that's what I take to get to Horwich. There's also fairly major gas main work going on along the A666 through Darwen so at the busy times it's a nightmare to get in and out of the town.

I have found another phone number for "The Lancashire school of welding", got a different answering machine saying please leave a message and have had the same result nothing I also left a message on Preston collage's web site with contact details same result there, Nothing
How do these places survive ?
Been in touch with Myerscough college, they rang me back and were very helpful but unfortunately their course started last week and was full and the next course starts mid January, the retraining grant my ex-employer is offering me only lasts for up to 3 months.
The link from SiPMerlin150 http://www.wilkinson-welding-academy.com/ sounds very good but I would like to find somewhere a bit closer if possible.

James from Myerscough collage was very helpful and yesterday I booked the "Basic welding techniques" Jan 2013 followed by "Further welding techniques" April 2013.

I have enrolled on the 4 x Saturdays basic course starting Jan 12 followed by the Further welding course 10 x Thursday nights starting 18 April.
