Welding Code Spec???

I've tried searching on line, but I need a translation of the welding spec into workshop floor English.
Can someone please help.

Stick l presume would be E7018 (+ preheat possibly?)

Stick and mig translations please....

Well it depends on the rod mate. Not all 7018 is created equal its a very wide scope the AWS A5.1 classification.

ESAB OK 48.00 meets or exceeds all those requirements.

E 42 4 B 4 2 H4 R

Just check the ISO 14341 spec on the box, as 7018 comes in many flavours even from ESAB there’s about 7 different electrodes all 7018 but some don’t meet that spec.
