Hello,
I've a project where I need to joint some tubes to create a cage. As tubes I'm using aluminium with a diameter of 16mm and 1.5mm thickness. I've no/low welding experience.
After some research I've understood how to proceed in welding, but I've a doubt about which type of welding is more advised for this material/dimensions.
Actually I can go with brazing or MIG without gas (lower costs). Since I need to invest in materials, I want to know which one is preferable to make stronger joints.
I'm thinking that MIG is much stronger, but on such small diameter and thin material I'm no anymore sure about this. Maybe the difficult to weld such small circumference with no experience can also create weaker joints using MIG than brazing.
Any suggestion is appreciate!
