Welding a tank.

Guys,who can help?Am attempting to weld up a liquid proof tank,welds look nice and neat but still leek!!Any clues:

I've just done a rectangular veggie tank for the van out of 2mm.
Can't MIG weld to save my life and should have bitten the bullet and TIG'ed it all, but it's a 50l tank and it would have taken me days!

I just keep filling it with water and having another go at the leaky bits. Would give a real welder a fit but it's slowly getting less leaky...

If its a foll box tank, instead of filling it with water to test it, make a bung and pressurise it with air, then spray soapy water on the welds, the holes will for bubbles, saves time and water. But thats only it you can seal the tank

A BIG Word Of warning.


DO NOT PRESSURE IT MORE THAN 3-4PSI

EVEN THAT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS.


Not only that, it WILL belly the sides.
